Jucks is a hypnotically powerful experimental film written and directed by Raef Van Putten. A surreal exploration of the delicate balance between past and future, organic and synthetic, observer and participant, and of a stricken protagonist lost in an industrial dystopia filling the in-between.

Raef finds greatest fulfillment in connecting with, experiencing, and catalyzing the growth of community through collective collaboration. He falls in love with every moment spent witnessing an artist find inspiration, expression, or freedom in the organic ecstasy of creativity.

Raef's artistic process focuses on space creation and catalysis of memory through immersive, curated experience. Raef's mediums include film, experimental performance, writing & poetry, sculpture, and documentary.

A drive to spearhead community and utilize an innate ability to weave captivating visual stories propels Raef forward—towards developing larger scale projects around community, self-expression, and artistic experimentation.
